Wrangell Institute for Science and Environment is a partner with Princess Tours. Inc. and Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge. There are two guided tour per day, five days per week. Your tour starts at 8:00 AM or 1:00 PM. For your convenience, the minivan will pick you up at the Princess Lodge after breakfast or after lunch.
Three Ways to Book Your Tour
WISE is a local non-profit group dedicated to science and environmental education in the Copper River Basin.
All the proceeds from “Copper Country Discovery Tour” help to fund educational programs for youth and adults in the region of the Wrangell-St. Elias Mountains. These programs include outdoor events for school children, a public lecture series in which visiting scientists share their research with local citizens, and in-classroom activities and presentations. To enhance its effectiveness, WISE partners with many other Copper Valley organizations and agencies.
